The supply of chain slings is a somewhat daunting exercise if one is not prepared. The standard for a chain sling is the reach, this
distance is commonly known as the “bearing to bearing” distance, and not the chain length. This is calculated by adding the length
of the relevant components to be used and subtracting this figure from the total length to give the chain length required.
Renttech supplies a range of quality accepted chain and components ranging from premium grade 800 chain and components to assembled chain slings , right through to grade 1000 in 200t as well as PAS1061.
