The ARC 201 ST PFC is an industrial single phase IGBT inverter designed for the most demanding welding applications. This unit offers both SMAW as well as LIFT GTAW. Arc controls include Hot-start and arc-force. This machine also offers VRD, over current protection and is generator compatible. The Power factor correction technology (PFC) allows the unit to operate on a wider range of input voltages from 96V-285V 50/60Hz to cater for improper voltage fluctuations. This also results in a lower input current of only 28 amps for use on smaller
generators.
