Position: Driver Assistant
Location: East London
Reporting To: Branch Manager
Period: Permanent
Stipend: Market Related
Closing Date: 26 January 2026
Responsibilities
- Transport gas and welding products to customers with the driver
- Checking of stock and paperwork, prior to deliveries with the driver
- Moving and placing of cylinders in the correct area
- Loading and offloading of trucks
- Assisting of measuring cables, chains and hoses for stock count
Education, Training, Skills and Experience Required
Minimum Qualification: Matric
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Other:
- 5 years experience
- Driver’s license: Code 10/14
- PDP
- Good English (spoken)
- Problem solving skills
- Must be very organized
